Professionally

• My first lesson in marketing and customer centricity was at the age of 10 putting on a lemonade stand - my ROI was not calculated properly and my dad started giving me a 101 on running a business ;)

• I studied Journalism & Communication, with an emphasis on Marketing and Advertising

• At my university, I ran the advertising department of my school’s student-led newspaper

• I built my foundational marketing and customer-centric mindset at my first job post-university, Intuit QuickBooks

• I moved to Sydney, Australia 7 years ago, and I’ve spent the last four years at Dropbox designing a more enlightened way of working

Personally

• I was born and raised in the heart of Silicon Valley

• My dad is a market researcher for up & coming technology, my Mom is a graphic designer - I’d like to think I got a bit of both of them :)

• I grew up with diversity in my household as a Korean-American, and exposed to various cultures at an early age

• I’m passionate about ocean swimming, coastal walks listening to a good podcast/audiobook and A/B testing food
